Abstract
The Human Genome Project has not achieved the genetic cures for fatal diseases projected at its launch nearly 30 years ago. We identify the problem as an Impasse of gene-centric biology. That cannot be solved by measuring gene association scores alone. We also show how mathematical modelling can by-pass this problem and discover effective medications.
